                                                              Foreign investment has long been a mainstay of
                                                              Vietnam’s economic development. As the fourth out-
                                                              break of Covid-19 ravaged large swathes of the country,
                                                              it was particular pleasing to note that foreign capital
                                                              continued to pour in and that investments weren’t im-
                                                              pacted to any great extent. As the dust settles and the
                                                              “new normal” begins to take shape, foreign investors re-
                                                              main optimistic about what the future holds for Vietnam,
                                                              while the country has been actively promoting itself as
                                                              the world changes in almost every respect. With its un-
                                                              derlying fundamentals intact, Vietnam still has a positive
                                                              story to tell the world.
