March 8 is International Women’s Day and
while the last 12 months have been prob-
lematic for all it’s perhaps women who
have been under the most duress, with
the ever-present need to balance work
and family becoming even more of an
issue. Women-owned or led enterprises
already had a raft of matters acting
against them, and Covid-19 simply added
to their burden. Most have done a sterling
job, but as the “new normal” comes into
view it’s hoped that it can be used to ad-
dress the many matters that women in
business have long had to face and those
appearing more recently.
